Three top chefs are set to showcase Welsh Lamb to an international audience in London this week at the International Food and Drink Event.
Cyrus Todiwala OBE, chef-patron of Café Spice Namaste in London, Italian chef Francesco Mazzei of L’Anima London and PGI Welsh Lamb chef Elwen Roberts will be showing off the quality of Welsh Lamb at the event.
The four-day show is held in the ExCeL exhibition centre and attracts around 30,000 leading global food industry figures.
Welsh red meat promotion agency Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) will be demonstrating the quality of Welsh Lamb at the event.
Roberts said: “This is an excellent opportunity to highlight the properties of Welsh Lamb that make it so appealing to customers across the world.”
“Welsh Lamb is a world-class brand, something we in Wales can be extremely proud of, and much of that success is due to the traditional, green methods employed by our farmers,” he added.
Todiwala and Mazzei are both members of the Welsh Lamb Club, an initiative for chefs who prefer to serve the meat as their first choice in restaurants.
Welsh Lamb is also available throughout Europe and Middle and Far East, in addition to Canada.
