A Norfolk butcher is finally to retire - after 50 years in the trade.
Jimmy Archer started at age 15 with the family business, Archers of Norwich. Now, at 65, he is finally calling it a day, to let one of his sons, a third-generation butcher, take over the business.
Mr Archer says the key to the success of the business has been concentration on quality.
He commented: "When Sainsbury's first opened up here, it knocked us down a few hundred quid a week, but after a few months, customers came back to us because of the quality of the meat and the quality of staff."
