A new range of biltong that is marketed on its healthy credentials is being launched.
Beefit, a British company making biltong from British beef said its range was high in protein and lower in fat, salt and sugar than any other dried beef product.

The company has launched an ‘original’ flavour and plans to introduce other flavours in the near future.
"We want people to enjoy the highest quality British beef biltong, which is low in fat and high in protein, to help people lead healthier lifestyles and snack more sensibly," added Elsom.
The product is currently available to buy on the website, www.beefitbiltong.com, where customers can purchase three packets or a bulk package of 21 packets.
