DBC Foodservice adds new lines to frozen range

DBC Foodservice has revised and expanded its frozen category, adding new categories and branded products from current suppliers.

New in the DBC meat and poultry categories are 'Ovation Lamb Tendersteaks', 'Breaded Bandito Chicken Goujon' and chicken skewers, including tomato and chilli flavoured.

Additions to the buffet category include appetisers such as 'Red Hot Jalapeno Bites', Japanese-style 'Torpedo Prawns' and 'Duck Cracker Spring Rolls'.

DBC’s frozen fish category sees new products such as non-fried cod in breadcrumbs, a new range of fishcakes including 'Breaded Cod with Lemon & Parsley', 'Thai Haddock & Prawn and Smoked Haddock & Gruyere', and 'New Zealand Half Shell Green Lip Mussels'.

There is also a new pasta dish 'Quadrelli Con Agnello e Timo' (lamb & thyme).

According to Sue Cronin-Jones, buying director at DBC Foodservice: "We have completely overhauled our frozen offering. Our new range delivers exciting new products that we are particularly proud of.

"With a shelf life of up to 12 months, our frozen range allows customers to significantly reduce overheads by cutting kitchen labour costs, eliminating wastage and ensuring accurate portion size. Restaurateurs can cost meals more precisely helping to protect their bottom line."
