Loxtons pork product pips others to the post

The highest accolade at the recent BPEX Foodservice Pork Product of the Year Awards 2007 was presented to Cheshire based Loxtons Foods.

The company took the gold and bronze in the ready meals category and went on to scoop the overall winner across all categories with its Stuffed Pork Olive, described as 'a tender British pork escalope filled with apple, black pudding and smoked bacon in a creamy onion sauce.'

Loxtons managing director, Paul Durbin, said: "Our NPD team are delighted to have these awards for working with British pork and feel particularly honoured to have achieved the overall winner - our sous-vide process is ideally suited to products requiring gentle cooking creating a succulent final dish.
