Seriously Italian pesto

Pesto is an Italian sauce originating from the Liguria region and this tasty number comes from Seriously Italian, which uses produce from both Italy and Great Britain.

The Wild Rocket Pesto contains extra virgin olive oil from the Puglia region on the southern-eastern tip of Italy and uses cheeses Parmigiano-Reggiano and Pecorino Romano.

A unique characteristic of Simply Italianís pestos is that they are homemade; the products are not created using a food processor or blender, but are developed by crushing the herbs and nuts together, rather than chopping. It can be used to add flavour to pastas such as linguine, trofie and gnocchi.
