Pork Farms highlights British in chilled range revamp

Pork Farms has relaunched its range of branded chilled savoury foods, introducing a new look with a packaging overhaul.

Four rebranded lines have hit the shelves in Morrisons stores, highlighting the British origin of their meat using a distinctive Union Jack design. The range includes cold pies, slices, sausage rolls and Scotch Eggs.

Pork Farms claimed it was the nation’s favourite pork pie brand, and the new packaging reflected this with the words ‘Britain’s Favourite’.

Andy Napthine, head of marketing at Pork Farms, said: “We’ve been baking pork pies since 1931 and have firmly established ourselves as the nation’s favourite pork pie brand. We’re very proud of this and have taken the decision to make more of it on our packaging.

“The relaunch of our convenience range firmly positions Pork Farms as a credible branded supplier of slices and sausage rolls, offering excellent value for money for shoppers and changing the commercial propositions currently offered by other operators in the channel.”

Pork Farms’ co-branded Branston range has also been refreshed, to highlight the link with the popular pickle brand. A new product has been added – Ploughmans Bites are pork bites filled with Branston pickle.
