Eblex backs burger sales with POS kit

To make the most of the gourmet burger trend, Eblex is offering butchers a point-of-sale kit to use to promote their burgers.

The kit contains posters and recipes for gourmet burgers, including a lamb, apricot and coriander burger recipe poster. Eblex said butchers can use these recipes to “inspire their customers”. Alongside recipe posters, the kit includes recipe leaflets containing 40 different gourmet recipes customers can take away.

Eblex developed the Gourmet Burger range of promotional kits for butchers to help promote the burger and mince market, after research found that customers preferred burgers that used minced trim from the rump, chuck or brisket – which Eblex said can “significantly improve margin potential”.

The kits will be issued to members of the Quality Standard Mark scheme who have registered to receive marketing materials.
