Meat industry professionals looking to innovate are being urged to snap up tickets to a food innovation conference in London.

The conference, New Frontiers in Food and Drink will look at the future of food and drink manufacturing, with talks on new innovations such as 3D printing, insects as food, packaging and product fortification.

The day involves presentations, taste-testing and break-out sessions with some of the most innovative thinkers in food and drink.

The event is billed as ideal for members of the meat supply chain and manufacturers looking to innovate, as well as new product development managers/executives; business development managers; food technologists; nutritionists; supermarket buyers; SMEs; packaging technologists; academics and food research consultancies; ingredients manufacturers and suppliers; and scientists specialising in food and beverages.

A keynote speech will be delivered by food futurologist Doctor Morgaine Gaye, who looks at food and eating from a social, cultural, economic, trend, branding and geopolitical perspective. In her presentation she will examine what innovations will impact the food and drink industries.

Organised by William Reed titles Meat Trades Journal, The Grocer, Food Manufacture and British Baker, the event will be held in London at Etc Venues, St Paul’s on 26 June 2015.
