Iceland grows speciality meat range

Iceland has extended its range of Kezie frozen speciality meats. 

The new additions to the range are Wagyu Beef Burgers (2pk/220g/£1.89), which are available for a four-week period, Venison Haunch Steaks (2pk/250g/£5) from European red deer, Kangaroo Fillets (2pk/250g/£4.50) which are sourced from open-range kangaroos, and Rabbit Fillets (1pk/250g/£4.25).

Launched to coincide with the barbecue season, the range will be available in stores and through its Power of Frozen online shops from 8 July.

Nigel Broadhurst, Iceland joint managing director, said: “Iceland is excited to bring some of the most luxurious and alternative new protein sources to customers this summer. It’s time to get friends and family talking and tasting together as they all try something new and delicious. Keeping meal-time varied is important, so these new proteins are a fantastic way to turn classics, like fajitas, pies or steak frites, into something new!”
