Buyer reshuffle at Marks & Spencer
Published:  16 July, 2015

Tom Harvey has left his position as beef, lamb and game buyer at Marks & Spencer to take up a role in its dairy division.

Harvey had worked in meat sector for more than 14 years and had been beef, lamb and game buyer for Marks & Spencer for four years. He capped off a career in the meat industry with a win at this year’s SuperMeat & Fish Awards in which Marks & Spencer won Best Meat & Fish Retailer and Best Overall Product.

He said: “To finish on a high like this is everything I could have wished for after a long career in protein. I’m looking forward to moving on to a new division and broadening my horizons.”

Harvey moves to the dairy division to replace Andrew Dempsey, who, in a straight swap, has taken over the beef, lamb and game department.
