British Roast Dinner Week partners with Trinity Mirror

For the first time, British Roast Dinner Week has entered into a partnership with publishing house Trinity Mirror. 

The week, taking place from 26 September to 2 October, is designed to celebrate and promote roast dinners across the country.

Roast dinners have received a lot of support lately, with a ‘Midweek Mini-Roast’ campaign from AHDB Beef & Lamb receiving a television marketing push, as well as the introduction of 22 new lines into the mini-roast category in British supermarkets.

“We Brits love our roasts,” said Chris Brown, channel trade marketing manager for Unilever Food Solutions. “What’s more, they’re helping bolster another great British tradition – loving your local pub.” As part of the week-long celebration, pubs and consumers are able to nominate their local for the Best British Roast Dinner title. “By partnering with Trinity Mirror, we can make this year bigger and better than ever – maximising footfall for British pubs and helping our title winners become famous for their roasts.”  

British Roast Dinner Week is sponsored by Colman's and supported by Knorr, and encourages British pubs to serve roast dinners every day across the week.
