Packaging event offers insights for meat exporters
Published:  25 September, 2017

Meat firms involved with, or eyeing, the export market can access free advice and guidance from leading packaging experts if they sign up to a webinar scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, 26 September).

The one-hour online event, Packaging for Export, which is organised by Meat Trades Journal’s sister title GlobalMeatNews and sponsored by Sealed Air and Krehalon, will take place at 3pm UK time.

Karl Deily, president of Sealed Air’s food care division, will take a look at solutions for cutting packaging waste and spoilage. Peter Wareing, food safety and manufacturing consultant at Leatherhead Food Research, will investigate issues surrounding modified atmosphere packaging and bone-in products.

Paul Jenkins, managing director of ThePackHub, will cover some of the latest meat packaging innovations from the past year.

There will be a question-and-answer session following the three presentations, when registrants can post any questions for the experts to answer live. Questions can also be logged before the event upon registration.

Signing-up is simple and completely free of charge. For more information and to register, click here.

Those unable to tune in to take part live tomorrow can still sign up and listen to the on-demand recording of the event.
